Just when we think we’ve got our business dialed … we put our foot on the accelerator and quickly uncover new challenges at greater speed.
It’s like getting all our ducks in a row … and then having someone start shooting them down out of nowhere?!
Totally fun … NOT! 😉
And this can put us in reactive mode real quick … making things feel unpredictable and chaotic … especially when we’re pushing for growth.
Being skilled at solving issues when they arise is one part of the solution. The other part is anticipating challenges and putting preventative measures in place.
However, it’s nearly impossible to predict all the possible forks in the road, plot twists, and out-of-the-norm scenarios that we’ll face as we build and scale our business.
BUT … there’s a shortcut I was reminded of this past weekend at The Real Estate Guys™ Secrets of Successful Syndication Seminar with over 200+ Syndicators.
And it’s TRIBE.
Ken McElroy says, “If you want to change your life, change who you hang around with.”
We all know people who are great starters, but not good finishers. The rubber meets the road with finishing … following through with execution.
Having advisors, mentors, peers, and teams on the same path can bring valuable insights that propel us to finish.
When building and scaling a successful business … it’s tempting to get trapped creating a job for ourselves.
The voice trapping us sounds like … “it’ll just take a few minutes” … “nobody will do it as good as me” … “it takes too long to train someone” … and the voice goes on.
But, we don’t have to know everything about everything and anticipate all the what-if scenarios.
We simply need to be connected with people who do. That’s the power of a tribe.
It’s WHO you have on speed-dial to provide real-world perspective and support no matter what curve-balls fly your way.
Cheers to being in the right rooms, surrounded by the right people and making things happen in your business for yourself, your family, and the community!
