5 Processes Every Business Must Have to Win in 2024

Ya ever had an idea you were so excited about?

Like that Christmas Eve feeling you had as a kid … anxiously waiting for the big reveal?!

Or maybe you feel like the parents, rushing to get the presents wrapped and under the tree before you crash from sheer exhaustion?!

That’s the energy passionate entrepreneurs experience everyday as we pursue building our businesses.

In the last 36 months, I’ve helped launch and organize to scale 36 businessesThat’s one per month and I’ve observed several common threads.

A business owner comes to us basically saying …

I’ve got this idea in my head … I’m so excited about it … I’m bursting with passion and we need to get it out fast!?!

Or this idea I’ve been so excited about … I got it started but it’s spilling out everywhere and generating so much activity, I need help YESTERDAY!!!

And our team is like the triage unit, skilled brain surgeonnurturing nurse, and partner-in-crime to get us stabilizedorganizedrealigned, and charging hard again towards Christmas morning!

It’s rewarding to see the bright-eyed and bushy tailed leaders, teams, and customers thrilled to enjoy the big reveal and eager plan again for Christmas next year.

On the flip side, I’ve also observed so many ideas stay stuck and never get to experience the big reveal.

It’s like waking up Christmas morning to no glistening tree with presents stacked high.

Solving these problems for business owners and leaders continues to be my mission.

Everyday I’m collecting new insights from my journey and the ones of those we get to serve.

The ones who crush it have two things in common … the courage to take imperfect action and the discipline to adhere to systems.

You can tell a lot about the likelihood of success
with these 5 things:

  1. Tell me your process for dreamingHow are you developing yourself as a visionary? #Vision
  2. Tell me your process for taking action towards your dream. How are you developing yourself as an action-taker? #Execution
  3. Tell me your process for navigating plot-twistsHow are you developing a resilient environment for yourself and your tribe? #Culture
  4. Tell me your process for staying humble when success comes. How are you developing your character and what are you aligning your identity with? #Leadership
  5. Tell me your process for teaching your processes to others. How are you developing fellow hero’s around you? #Freedom

Answering these 5 questions in your business is what organizing to scale is all about.

Organizing to scale has less to do with scaling and more to do with implementing proven systems so that you can create a business instead of a job for yourself.

Most people set out to build businesses to create freedom – time, money, location.

YET end up trapped in the very business designed to create their freedom. Or worse their idea stays stuck at the starting line.

It’s not because they’re not smart or hard-working …

It’s because they don’t invest in and respect the infrastructure that will catapult them towards their dreams.

Before entering 2024, if you have not yet developed your personal process for each of these 5 … may we strongly encourage you to do so.

36 months and 36 businesses later … It will be worth it!

Answering these 5 questions is exactly how we help entrepreneurs and business owners.

Mastering these five elements shapes more than a business; it forges a lasting legacy, guiding others towards freedom and success.

Cheers!
