The FIRST Thing You Need to Scale Your Syndication Business

You might think the answer is … action! But, it’s not …

Or maybe you’re thinking it’s … sales! Nope …

Shocking I know!!

YES … making sales and taking action are essential to BUILDING a business. BUT, SCALING a business … that’s a completely different thing! Let’s break this down …

Meet Craig … he owns a growing real estate syndication business. He’s in the build phase and doing well.

Right now, it’s just him and his occasional “partner” that comes and goes.

Craig is responsible for building relationships, raising capital, doing deals and pulling all the strings behind the scenes to make those key functions happen.

How scalable is his business?

Not very scalable … right?!

It’s impossible to scale and be a one-man band (or two) forever without losing your health, relationships, sanity, and gusto.

Craig will burnout.

The only way to create sustainable growth and predictable profits … is to work through people.

This could be direct or indirect.

Craig may outsource tasks to third party vendors. Or he might hire a contractor for on-going support. Or he may partner with a person who can provide value in an area that’s not his Sweet Spot.

In whatever way we slice it … Craig is working through people.

And to work through people without breaking the bank, losing precious time, delaying execution, and frustrating the hell out of everyone …THIS is the FIRST THING Craig needs …

SYSTEMS!

Systems are repeatable ways of doing things. An agreed upon process for getting $h!t done that aligns with Craig’s unique vision and values.

Craig is an idea man … continually forward thinking … searching for his next big sale and amazing new deal.

He’s more of a Visionary / Sales type entrepreneur … thus he struggles with taking a step back to create systems.

And understandably so … Craig is relentless about filling the pipeline. As he should be …

… which is precisely WHY figuring out a way to work through people is crucial.

This will give him the freedom to dedicate his focus towards building strategic relationships, generating leads, creating content, closing sales and doing deals.

And NOT worrying about everything under the hood. Craig’s wife will appreciate a full night’s sleep with her husband too!

The way for Craig to get the day-to-day mundane off his plate is to delegate.

And the way to confidently delegate … knowing what he is handing off will get done correctly AND not come back messier than when he handed it off … is systems.

Systems are documented processes and procedures that anyone can follow.

If you’re like Craig and feel you’re not in a position to take your foot off the gas pedal for too long to create systems …

Find someone or a team of people who knows your industry that can help you create systems tailored to your business, and provide you with on-going support to ensure efficient and accurate execution.

Having lofty goals in 2021 to SCALE your business without systems and people is a recipe for heartache and burnout.

The path to true scalability for your business AND personal fulfillment for YOU is creating systems and getting the right people in the right seats with accountability SO THAT you can live in your Sweet Spot.
